Whole Wheat Bread
5 1/2 c. warm water2/3 c. honey
3 Tbs. salt (adjust as necessary)
500 mg. vitamin C crushed
1/3 c. oil
1 Tbs. yeast- rounded
1/3 c. applesauce
4 Tbs. Vital Wheat Gluten
12 c. wheat flour or more
Put all ingredients in mixer--except--use about 1/2 the flour. Cover and let rise for 1/2 hour. Add remaining flour to soft dough. Mix 10 minutes, put in pans. Let rise till double. Bake 350 for 50 minutes. Makes 4-5 loaves.
